2020 Meetup Being Planned

We have some exciting news! CTNNB1 Syndrome Awareness Worldwide (CSAW) and Advancing CTNNB1 Cures and Treatments (ACCT) together are organizing a meet up for our families to meet one another and hear from our researchers! Please fill out this survey to help us gather information for planning purposes. More details and information will be provided in the future.

2019 Family Meetup

We will be hosting a family meetup at the Newport Aquarium on July 22, 2019.  Tickets are available at https://www.ctnnb1.org/shop.  Door prizes will include an adaptive Amtryke tricycle and t-shirts.  We will also be giving away a dragonfly car magnet to each family who attends.

Getting ready for World Rare Disease Day 2019!

World Rare Disease Day 2019 is just around the corner (February 28, 2019)!  Join us on Facebook for news and information about CTNNB1 Syndrome, and donate to our WRDD fundraiser!

CSAW opens Bonfire Online Store

Rather than run the traditional t-shirt campaigns, we will be opening a Bonfire store at www.bonfire.com/store/csaw.  New merchandise runs will still require minimum purchase amounts and will take around 30 days, but previous designs that have met their minimums will not.  Want to create your own design?  Designs generally meet minimum print requirements at around 11 shirts sold.

Remembering Abby Loudermilk

It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of our Executive Director, Abby Loudermilk.  Donations made in her memory will go to a special fund for researching CTNNB1 Syndrome.  Please mark donations "In memory of Abby Loudermilk".

March 2018 T-Shirt Sale open through 3/25/18

Our March 2018 T-shirts will be available for sale through March 25th.  We aren't focusing on fundraising for these first shirts as we want as many people as possible to purchase and wear these shirts to raise awareness (we are averaging less than $1 US for each shirt sold).  We will start shipping these orders the first week of April.

Closing Facebook World Rare Disease Day 2018 fundraiser, Tee-shirt fundraising challenge coming soon!

We will be closing the current World Rare Disease Day 2018 fundraiser on March 4th.  At that time we will be announcing a tie-in between tee shirt designs and Facebook fundraisers, so stay tuned!

Finalizing Designs for our March 2018 Tee Shirts

We are finalizing the design of our March 2018 tee shirts.  You will have until March 4th at 11:59 PST to vote on your favorites at facebook.com/ctnnb1org.  For this first run, we will be doing one logo/placement for adult tees, and one for children's tees.  We will be keeping this run open for the rest of the month.  At that point, we will do a new shirt run with a different logo/placement, and different colors.

CTNNB1.org unviels new logo on World Rare Disease Day!

We are celebrating World Rare Disease Day with the unveiling of our new logo.  Thanks to all who worked on this effort.  special thanks to our artist and CTNNB1 mom Abigail Van de Bulk who worked tirelessly to make this happen.  Look for official ctnnb1.org tees coming soon!  Due to the interest in Zebby the Zebra, we may bring him back for special occasions (such as future World Rare Disease Days) as well.

Guidestar Gold Rating!

As we continue to provide more information to Guidestar, we have been verified with a Gold rating (putting us in the top 1% of charities in terms of transparency) and plan to work toward Platinum status.  Guidestar ratings assure potential donors that we are a reputable charity.

GuideStar Silver Rating!

We have been verified by Guidestar for 2017 with a Silver rating (putting us in the top 2% of charities in terms of transparency) and will continue to work toward Gold status.  Guidestar ratings assure potential donors that we are a reputable charity.

Thanks for your donations!

Our Facebook Fundraiser is definitely a smashing success!  We met our goal on the first day of the fundraiser, although the fundraiser will remain open.  Please continue to share, like, and donate!

Facebook Fundraiser, Guidestar Profile

We created our first fundraiser on Facebook on 2/21/2018 with a goal of raising $1500 towards funding a video conferencing package to support board meetings, virtual meetups, and webinars.  While it will take some time for us to access the money that has been raised, a significant advantage in using Facebook is that we get to keep all the money that has been donated to us.

We are also working on our Guidestar profile so that people who are looking to donate can find out more about our organization and feel confident donating.

CSAW Files First 990-N

We at CSAW have filed our first 990-N e-Postcard (Abbreviated Annual Report) with the US Internal Revenue Service to maintain our tax-exempt status.  We will qualify for this abbreviated annual report format as long as our gross receipts are less than $50,000 US.  Our gross receipts for 2017 were $1,820.  Thanks so much to all who donated!  Keep track of donations by clicking the link below.

CSAW qualifies as a PayPal Confirmed Charity and has been enrolled in the PayPal Giving Fund

CSAW has just been approved as a PayPal Confirmed Charity, which means that we will automatically get a reduced transaction rate for donations made through our website.  In addition, we have enrolled in the PayPal Giving Fund.  We pay no transaction rate for donations made through the PayPal Giving Fund, although it does take around 30 days to receive these funds.  This also helps our organization qualify for additional fund-raising opportunities, including doing ebay fundraisers, etc.

100% of CTNNB1.org traduit en français !
